Our Story
Founded in 2013 by filmmaker Bukola Ogunsola, Revelation Pictures has become a trailblazer in Nigerian cinema. From our first feature film Happy Father’s Day, licensed by Africa Magic, to our latest theatrical release Something About the Briggs (2025), our journey reflects a commitment to excellence, faith, and storytelling with purpose.
Over the years, we’ve produced a diverse portfolio of short films, documentaries, and feature films that challenge societal norms, explore deep truths, and ignite hope. Our productions are driven by authenticity, technical excellence, and a heart for God’s kingdom.





Meet the Founder
Bukola Ogunsola — Director, Screenwriter, Producer, Visionary
Bukola Ogunsola is a Nigerian filmmaker, lawyer, and visionary leader passionate about storytelling that changes lives. With academic roots in Law from Obafemi Awolowo University and advanced filmmaking studies from prestigious institutions like the London Film Academy, New York Film Academy, and Prague Film Institute, Bukola has carved a unique path in both legal and cinematic worlds.
She made her screenwriting debut with The Perfect Plan for Africa Magic, followed by her directorial debut Happy Father’s Day (2017). Her sophomore feature, Another Father’s Day (2019), was a nationwide box-office success and now streams on Amazon Prime. Her third feature film, Something About the Briggs, was released nationwide in January 2025.
Bukola’s passion for film is rooted in her love for God and people. Every story she tells is infused with purpose, excellence, and the desire to shine God’s light to the world.
Beyond Film
Bukola is also the founder of the Bukola Ogunsola Foundation, which provides sponsorships for media projects and Christian outreaches.
She currently serves at Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA), Lagos, as an Operations Officer and Premarital Class Teacher, while supporting her husband, Pastor Folarin Ogunsola, in ministry. They are blessed with three beautiful children.
